natural or nasty

our story

Gem proudly make non-toxic oral care products, right here in Australia. We are a new oral care company for a new generation, and we’re making our grannies proud with an all-natural ingredient list of things you can actually pronounce. Our products are free of the bad stuff, like parabens, triclosan, SLS and BS and full of the good stuff, like probiotics, earth minerals and natural oils. And of course, we do all the stuff you’d expect, like freshen, brighten and protect your grill.

My name is Georgia and I'm thrilled to introduce you to the future of oral care!

After spending years immersed in the beauty industry, through modelling and an obsession with personal care, I took a particular interest in the wellness space, educating myself on microbiome health. I learned about the importance of gut health, microbiomes, natural ingredients, and the power of forming healthy habits.

The more I learned, the more I started questioning the daily-use products that contradict and compromise our health standards. This led to the development of Gem, a toxic-free, probiotic-rich oral care range.

Natural products that actually work, should be available to everyone, and everyone deserves to feel nurtured in their daily rituals.

Georgia xx

Call me crazy but for as long as I can remember I have always seeked enjoyment from a visit to the dentist. From the clinical smell to the sounds of the drills, I just find it super relaxing.

What got you into dentistry?

I’ve always loved working with people and working with my hands. I was artistic as a child and loved sciences as well. Dentistry allowed me to work with people and their health while still doing something pretty creative. I’ve always felt it is an amazing combination of art and science.

What got you into dentistry?

Throughout school I was always interested in health sciences, and have always enjoyed helping people. Dentistry always seemed like a good fit for me, but it was only when I got into studying dentistry at university and then treating patients that I understood how versatile and complex the practice of dentistry is, and how much there is to learn and grow within the profession. Since graduating I have not stopped learning and evolving.
